VAUXHALL MOTORS

Vauxhall Motors was first formed in 1907 by Alexander Wilson and continued as one of Britain's largest car manufacturers until purchased by General Motors in 1925. Since the 1970s Vauxhall models have been heavilly influenced by the Opel marque which was also acquired by GM in 1929. However, since its first production model in 1907, the brand has been almost exclusively sold in the U.K. As at 2009, Vauxhall is owned by General Motors and Magna International Inc of Canada while later that year, further ownership changes will leave GM with only a 35% stake in its once owned subsidiary.
From the DX models of the 30s
(I restored one to concours in the 90s) through the Wyverns and Velox, Vauxhall have produced some vehicles worthy of collecting and mentioned here.
