British "Telegraph Motoring" polled their
readers over a period for the "100 most beautiful cars of all time" which

American "Automobile" Magazine created a list
of their "The 25 most beautiful cars ever" in September 2007. Here are their top

The election process began in 1996 and a list of 700 cars was compiled.
The process of voting took place. By 1997, the list had been reduced to 200. 132 professional
automotive experts from 33 countries then reduced the list to 100 by the end of 1997.
In conjunction with an internet-based public vote, the list was then reduced to 26 in early 1999.
By September 1999, the final 5 had been chosen and the eventual winner announced.
This would seem to be the most authoritative selection process ever and for that reason,
they are all here, from left to right, 1st to 5th.
